Through a mutually beneficial partnership between the Inland Empire Paper Company and Spirit Lake Chamber of Commerce (Spirit Lake Trails Alliance) the Empire Trails were born. This collaboration has resulted in the development of an amazing 8 mile, single track wilderness trail network that allow bike riders and hikers to safely access the forrested mountainside above Spirit Lake for a wonderful day of exercise, recreation and appreciation of the beauty that surrounds the trail.
IEP Day Pass Required - only $2.50 per day
Daily (non-motorized) Biking/Hiking Passes and Maps are available at the IEP Gate and local merchants.
